Silk hand-embroidered Phulkari, or wedding shawl, handmade in the Punjab region of India. This Phulkari, which means flower work, is created by a young woman over many years with great devotion and with her personal stamp on a long and enviable tradition.  

Large enough for a table covering or lovely over the back of a sofa.  Years of work complete this one of a kind piece of hand-work, silk floss on a simple brown cotton backing, that canopies a couple in marriage.
