Daily Life Cushion: Black
We were so inspired by our favourite throw that we couldn't resist this darling pillow with the same embroidered history.
From the mountainous region of Western Myanmar (Burma), the Chin ethnic group carry a proud history of gorgeous textiles, as well as years of governmental abuse and consequent dispersal as refugees. Even among the Chin language, there are about 45 dialects - and one of them is surely the language of cloth. This cloth is a snapshot of their daily life. The simple embroidery is striking and compelling; carrying firewood, growing corn, roasting a pig. A stunning pillow to cuddle up with. Each is unique.
Care instructions: flip cover inside out, machine wash cold, tumble dry. Pillow insert included.
