"The RaRa" Ibu Foundation Fundraiser Event
The evening will feature exquisite Haitian cuisine by the celebrated Chef BJ Dennis, a live drumming experience, a Foundation presentation, a special guest appearance by Bien Abye Cooperative leader Dayanne Danier, and a memorable paddle raise to bring awareness and funding to new aspiring artisan groups.
Theme: The RaRa, which in Haitian tradition is a brilliant and colorful music festival with deep spiritual and cultural significance. We chose this theme to highlight our largest grant in 2021, awarded to a talented group of artisan women at the Bien Abye Cooperative in Port-au-Price, Haiti.
