Handwoven Bandhani Oversized Throw: Cranberry
Known throughout the eastern regions for its careful process and beautiful render, the Bandhani is a textile tradition, the name of which deriving from the ancient Sanskrit root, Bandh or “to tie, to bind”. Described as using ones fingernails to pinch tiny bits of fabric before binding with thread, this method is a delicate craft that may look to be easy, but is in fact difficult. Here we have an entire throw dedicated to the craft - pinched, wrapped, and soft to the touch. If that isn’t enough, this throw features hundreds of silken tassels, a festive addition to celebrate the uniqueness of this piece!
